The International Cricket Council (ICC) failed to reach on Champions Trophy on Friday to deal with the crises created by India by refusing to visit Pakistan for cricketing event.
The ICC held board meeting where PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi represented Pakistan.
The meeting was postponed until Saturday without any decision, sources said.
Earlier in the day, it emerged that a hybrid model for the Champions Trophy had been developed.
Sources indicated that two plans were to be presented to Pakistan, while a decision on the future of the ICC Champions Trophy was likely later on Friday.
According to sources, Plan A stipulates that all of India’s matches will take place in the UAE, whereas Plan B proposes two venues for the semi-finals and finals.
Additionally, if India does not advance beyond the group stage, the knockout matches will be held in Pakistan. If the hybrid model is not accepted, a vote will take place.
ICC board meeting was held online, with Mohsin Naqvi participating from Dubai to present Pakistan’s firm stance.
It is important to note that Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that the hybrid model is unacceptable, and Pakistan remains steadfast in its position.

An intermediate formula will only be considered if Pakistan is also unable to play in India in the future.
He stated that if India is refusing, they should present a government letter outlining solid reasons for not coming to Pakistan; without such a letter, no other justification will be accepted.
Mohsin Naqvi has reiterated that the entire event should be held in Pakistan, and no other party should be involved in hosting. The PCB has made its position clear to the ICC.
