Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. will miss the upcoming Champions League match against Liverpool after sustaining a hamstring injury.
The Brazilian international played the full match in Real Madrid’s recent 3-0 victory over Leganes but was later diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg.
As a result, Vinicius Jr. was not included in the 19-man squad traveling to Anfield for the crucial match, where Real Madrid will face the top team in the Champions League standings.
Reports from Spain suggest he could be sidelined for approximately three weeks, although the club has not officially confirmed the extent of his injury.
