Asif attributes Bushra’s statement to ‘conflict between sisters-in-law’

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has condemned the allegations made by Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s former wife, regarding a purported foreign conspiracy in the ouster of his government, specifically criticizing her accusations against Saudi Arabia.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader described Bushra’s accusations as regrettable and shameful, highlighting the long-standing historical ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

He questioned the credibility of Bushra’s claims, noting her shifting narrative, and expressed concern over the potential impact on the millions of Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia. He called for General Bajwa to personally refute the allegations.

Asif characterized Bushra’s actions as a desperate attempt to save her sinking political ship, stating that such political behavior is unprecedented in Pakistan’s history.
