Former PTI leader Faisal Vawda has claimed that the call for a protest on November 24 “is not final and may be issued again.”

While appearing on Aaj News programme Rubaroo, Vawda claimed that there was no prospect for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan and emphasised that “demanding freedom through aggression and intimidation invites more trouble.”

He claimed concern that Khan was facing increasing difficulties, which he attributed to compromised individuals within his own circle. Vawda advised Khan to take a step back, exhibit patience, and engage with other politicians to navigate the political landscape more effectively.

Vawda added that the situation prevents the PTI from gathering at D-Chowk, alleging that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is ensnaring Khan and making things easier for others.

Vawda criticised PTI members who boast about bringing 5,000 supporters, suggesting that they should first demonstrate their capability by bringing just five individuals themselves. He added: “If someone cannot deliver, they will be removed as if it were a family business.”

He further commented on the political climate in Pakistan and the broader region, claiming that when a popular leader was jailed, their relatives, workers, and party leaders often profit from the situation, enjoying both power and financial gains.

Vawda painted a “grim picture” of Pakistan, describing it as a “dangerous place” where individuals can be hanged from the gallows in the assembly and then brought back into the legislature from jail.
