Recent media reports suggest that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, may be in a coma, raising concerns about the country’s leadership.
The 85-year-old leader reportedly nominated his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, as his successor during a secret meeting, according to various sources.
In response to these claims, Khamenei’s office shared a photo of him meeting with Mojtaba Amani, Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, to demonstrate that he is still active.
The meeting took place on Sunday, and the image was posted on Khamenei’s social media account.
Ambassador Amani, who was injured in a recent explosion involving Hezbollah in Lebanon, provided a health update to Khamenei during their discussion.

Last month, Khamenei delivered his first sermon in five years, expressing strong support for Palestinian and Lebanese groups and justifying missile strikes against Israel.
His health has been a topic of concern since reports emerged in October indicating he was “seriously ill.”
As speculation about his condition continues, the implications for Iran’s political landscape remain uncertain.
