Perth Stadium is gearing up for an exciting summer of cricket as it has installed a drop-in pitch for the upcoming white-ball series between Pakistan and Australia.
The series will kick off on November 4 with an ODI at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), followed by the third ODI at Perth on November 10.
This match will mark the first of the season at Perth Stadium.
The series will feature six matches in total, including a three-match T20I series starting on November 14.
Following this series, Perth Stadium will also host a Test match against India as part of the Border-Gavaskar series from November 22-26, along with five home games for the Perth Scorchers during the Big Bash League.
The installation of the drop-in pitch was a meticulous process, involving a 30-meter-long, 40-tonne transport vehicle specifically designed for cricket wickets.
This equipment is unique to Western Australia.
