Liam Payne found with ‘Pink Cocaine’ and other substances at time of death

Former One Direction member Liam Payne had multiple drugs in his system, including a substance known as “pink cocaine,” when he fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, according to a toxicology report.

The report, released on October 22, 2024, indicates that Payne was alone at the time of the incident and was experiencing a substance abuse episode.

The term “pink cocaine” refers to a mixture of methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA, which was detected in his system during a partial autopsy.

Crack cocaine and benzodiazepines were also found. Authorities discovered an improvised aluminum pipe in his hotel room, suggesting drug use.

Payne, 31, died after falling from a third-floor room, prompting emergency services to respond to reports of a guest “overwhelmed by drugs and alcohol.” The investigation revealed that the room was in disarray, with broken furniture and visible white powder on a table.
