The suspension of visits to prisoners at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi has been extended indefinitely.
Sources within the jail confirmed that the ban on visits will remain in effect until further notice. The Punjab government extended the suspension. The decision to restrict visits was made due to security concerns.
According to sources, the ban applies to all prisoners, including political prisoners. The indefinite suspension remains in place due to ongoing security concerns.
The Punjab government initially imposed a ban on all types of visits to Adiala Jail from October 4 to October 18.
