The Jeddah municipality has shut down a large naswar factory, seizing 217 kilograms of the product in a crackdown on illegal activities.
Reports indicated that the naswar was prepared for distribution in local markets.
During the operation, several foreign nationals were arrested.
Authorities revealed that these individuals had converted their residence into a production facility for naswar, and were also manufacturing flavored shisha.
