Major illegal naswar factory raided in Saudi Arabia

The Jeddah municipality has shut down a large naswar factory, seizing 217 kilograms of the product in a crackdown on illegal activities.

Reports indicated that the naswar was prepared for distribution in local markets.

During the operation, several foreign nationals were arrested.

Authorities revealed that these individuals had converted their residence into a production facility for naswar, and were also manufacturing flavored shisha.

Following the raid, officials confirmed that the confiscated naswar had been destroyed, and the arrested individuals have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
