Pakistan’s top weightlifter, Nooh Dastgir Butt, made a remarkable debut at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship, securing the title in the 120kg category. In his first appearance at this prestigious event.
Butt showcased his exceptional talent by winning three gold medals and one bronze.
He lifted an impressive total of 860kg in the open category, establishing himself as a strong contender in powerlifting.
Butt excelled in individual events as well, clinching gold in the squat with a lift of 370kg and another gold in the bench press with a lift of 210kg.
He also earned a bronze medal in the deadlift category, lifting 280kg.
