Security forces in Pakistan have dealt a significant blow to the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in a successful counter-terrorism operation in Harnai, Balochistan.
Intelligence-based operations conducted on September 12 resulted in the deaths of six key BLA militants.
Sources within the security forces confirmed the operation, identifying the slain militants as Shafo Samalani (alias Tadin), Sarmad Khan (alias Dastin), Muhammad Gul Mari (alias Wahid Baloch), Ghulam Qadir Mari (alias Anjir Baloch), Obaid Baloch (alias Fida), and Taj Muhammad (alias Babel).
All were reportedly involved in direct attacks on security forces and civilians.

Defense experts are hailing the operation as a major victory for security forces, stating that the loss of these six key members represents a substantial setback for the BLA.
The experts further noted that the people of Balochistan have rejected these militants who cloak themselves in the guise of seeking freedom.
