A private gas company operating in the Musakhel area of Balochistan was attacked late at night by an armed group. The attackers set fire to company machinery, including at least seven bulldozers, and abducted more than 20 employees.
The incident occurred in the Sarragh area of Musakhel. After the arson, the abducted workers were released.
Sources report that the armed men targeted the machinery of a private contractor working with the gas company. After setting the machinery ablaze, the assailants released the hostages. Levies forces and other security officials are investigating the incident.
A Levies Force statement confirmed the attack and the extensive damage to heavy machinery. They added that a cordon has been established around the area to monitor any suspicious activity.

This attack follows a separate incident in the Godabdin area of Panjgur on the previous day, where seven laborers were killed and one injured in a shooting.
District authorities reported that the victims, all from Multan, Punjab, were killed by militants believed to be associated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
The laborers were working on a construction project at the time of the attack.
