Gold prices in Pakistan saw a big hike after the one tola of gold price rose by Rs3,500, reaching a new record of Rs272,000. The rate reflected increases in international markets.
The price for 10 grams of gold also saw a rise, selling at Rs233,196 after an increase of Rs3,001, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
The day before, gold prices had already risen by Rs800, settling at Rs268,500.
In the international market, gold prices climbed significantly on Friday, reaching $2,612 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20, marking a daily gain of $35 as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola. Prior to this surge, gold prices had peaked at Rs268,500 per tola on Thursday.
