Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Thursday, mirroring a surge in international rates. After a dip the previous day, the local market saw a Rs800 increase in the price per tola, reaching a new record high of Rs268,500.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs685, settling at Rs230,195, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The international gold rate also climbed on Thursday, reaching $2,577 per ounce (with a $20 premium), marking an $8 gain for the day.
Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola.
It is worth noting that gold prices had previously reached a record high of Rs268,000 per tola on Monday.
