Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Saturday, following a rise in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs400, reaching a record high of Rs266,300.
Similarly, 10 grams of gold were sold for Rs228,309, reflecting an increase of Rs343, according to the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
On Friday, the price of gold had surged by Rs2,900, settling at Rs265,900.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a significant rise on Saturday. According to association, the rate reached $2,577 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking an increase of $11 for the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950 per tola. This ongoing rise in gold prices is impacting both consumers and investors across the country.
