The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has reported that Karachi will not experience any rain in the upcoming week.
According to the Met Office, Friday featured partly cloudy and clear skies, accompanied by stronger-than-normal south-westerly winds at 36 km/h (20 nautical miles).
The highest temperature recorded that day was 31.8 degrees Celsius.
The Early Warning Centre of the Met Office expects similar weather conditions over the next three days, with partly cloudy to clear skies.
“Winds from the sea may continue at intervals, and maximum temperatures are predicted to range from 31 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius during this time,” the forecast indicated.
The department confirmed that there is no likelihood of rain for at least the next seven days.
