The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has decreased the prices for Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for September.
According to the notification issued on Thursday, the LNG price for Sui Northern has been decreased by $0.15 per MMBtu, bringing the new price to $13.85 per MMBtu. Similarly, the Sui Southern would also see a reduction of $0.15 per MMBtu, with the new price set at $13.42 per MMBtu.
Last month, the authority notified an increase of up to 3.20 per cent in the sale price of Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for two Sui gas companies.
For Lahore-based Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd, the sale price at the transmission stage had risen by 2.95%. The sale price at the distribution stage for SNGPL had increased by 2.97%, reaching $14.01 per mmBtu for August, up from $13.60 in July.
