Fire broke out in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony Number Three on Wednesday. However, rescue officials were able to bring it under control within a few hours.
The fire claimed the life of one person while another was injured.
The fire started after an explosion in an oil and tyre shop, quickly spreading to other shops.
The fire also trapped people in a residential building.

According to reports, petrol was being sold illegally in the shop.
The rescue effort faced several difficulties due to the rush in the area. The electricty had to be shut off during the operation.
