A female officer of the Punjab Police, Rafat Bukhari, has achieved international recognition. The International Association of Women Police awarded SSP Riffat Bukhari for her outstanding services.
The award was presented to SSP Rafat Bukhari at the 61st Annual Conference held in Chicago, by the International Association of Women Police.
According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Police, SSP Riffat Bukhari is currently serving in the Punjab Safe Cities Authority. This award is given annually to a female police officer from around the world in acknowledgment of exceptional services.
Rafat Bukhari was recognized for her contributions to women’s safety, the development of AI road safety mechanisms, and intelligent traffic management.

During the conference, the President of the International Association, Debra Friedl, presented the award to Rafat Bukhari.
IG Punjab Usman Anwar and MD Safe Cities Authority Ahsan Younis congratulated her. Dr. Usman Anwar remarked that SSP Rafat Bukhari’s achievement is a source of pride for female officers.
