Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, despite a decline in international rates. In the local market, the gold price per tola rose by Rs1,000, reaching Rs262,500.
The 10 grams of gold was sold at Rs225,051 after gaining Rs 57, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This follows Thursday’s price of Rs261,500, which had seen a loss of Rs2,200.
The international gold price fell on Saturday, with rates at $2,503 per ounce (plus a $20 premium), marking a decrease of $13 during the day.
Silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950 per tola. Last week, gold prices in Pakistan reached a record high of Rs263,700 per tola.
