The forensic analysis of PTI Information Secretary Raoof Hasan’s mobile phone has uncovered a “web of deceit and manipulation orchestrated” by former prime minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan to consolidate her “influence” within the PTI.
According to sources, the forensic examination of Hasan’s phone revealed that Aleema sent him a WhatsApp message on June 23 that contained a “fabricated account” by Khan’s sister, showing that Bushra Bibi visiting the former PM in jail and breaking down in tears.
Aleema expressed her displeasure, stating that Bibi’s message was “foolish” and that her “disinformation cell” was inciting people. The former prime minister’s sister then allegedly instructed Hasan not to promote Bushra’s message.
The leaked WhatsApp messages also revealed the PTI founder’s sister’s alleged attempts to create a false narrative around Khan’s purported death in jail, using a “fictitious conversation” between the party leader and a jailer.

Leaked messages have “uncovered a fabricated dialogue” attributed to Khan and a jailer. Sources stated that the purported dialogue claimed that Khan told the jailer that he knew the “jailer was under pressure to harm him and that if he were to be killed, the public would not spare the jailer.”
The message attributed to Bibi stated that Khan said he knew that “army chief Asim Munir is listening to all his conversations.”
The message sent to Hasan stated that Aleema was labelling Bibi’s messages as “disinformation,” sources added.
