The Lahore police have arrested a female dacoit and her husband, who were responsible for over 50 robberies.
According to the police, the arrested suspects, Momena and Aqeel, used to rob people on the streets by pretending to ask for directions.
The police recovered the stolen cash, mobile phones, weapons, and a motorcycle from the suspects. Specifically, they seized 300,000 Pakistani rupees in cash, 2 pistols, and 12 mobile phones.
The police have registered cases against the arrested suspects and initiated an investigation. Footage from CCTV cameras shows the female suspect using weapons to carry out the robberies.
To evade police checks, the female suspect would wrap the weapon in her shawl, and after the robbery, she would hide the looted items and weapons in her purse.
