Ash, widely regarded as the favorite to win the competition, lost 2-1 to Ulsan in the early rounds and was subsequently defeated 2-0 by JeonDDing, marking a premature end to his campaign.

Just a day before his defeat, Ash had a memorable encounter with Brazilian football superstar Neymar Jr. at the sidelines of the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia. The meeting was especially significant as it coincided with Ash’s birthday, with the Pakistani gamer expressing his excitement on Twitter, stating “Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present than meeting Neymar Jr.!
