At least 35 people were killed and 20 others were injured when a bus carrying Pakistani pilgrims was involved in an accident in Yazd, Iran.
According to Iranian media reports, the ill-fated bus overturned and caught fire near the Taftan-Dehshir checkpoint.
The bus, which had 53 passengers onboard, met with the accident late last night.
After being notified, police and rescue officials rushed to the scene and transported the bodies and injured individuals to the hospital.
An emergency response has been activated at hospitals across the city to provide treatment to the injured passengers.
