Gold prices in Pakistan experienced an upward trend on Tuesday, mirroring the increase in the international market. The local price per tola climbed by Rs1,200, reaching Rs257,700.
The 10-gram gold also saw a rise, reaching Rs220,936 after gaining Rs1,029.
This increase follows a period of stability on Monday, where gold prices remained unchanged at Rs256,500 per tola.
The international gold rate, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), climbed by $19, reaching $2,458 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
In contrast, silver prices remained steady at Rs2,850 per tola.
Last month, gold prices had reached an all-time high of Rs257,300 per tola, increasing by Rs2,400.
