A woman in the remote village of Monakhel in Karak tragically took the lives of her children before turning the gun on herself.
According to police spokesperson, the incident is believed to be the result of a domestic dispute. However, the deceased woman’s brothers have accused her in-laws of murder, claiming that their sister and nephews were killed.
The FIR names the woman’s father-in-law and brother-in-law as suspects. Her husband was not at home at the time of the incident and is not named in the FIR.
Following the registration of the FIR, the deceased woman’s father-in-law and brother-in-law have fled the scene. Police are conducting raids to apprehend them.
