Former Pakistan captain and head coach Waqar Younis has returned to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as an advisor to the chairman.
He has already begun his role, with his first assignment being the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh.
Sources reveal that Younis has started working with PCB Chairman, Mohsin Khan. His initial focus will be on providing guidance for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh.
Younis will be involved in consultations with the selectors and head coach to finalize the national Test team squad. The final selection will then be submitted to the PCB Chairman for approval.
