Religious Affairs Secretary, Zulfiqar Haider on Monday said a comprehensive consultation with all stakeholders would be ensured before the issuance of the Hajj Policy 2025.
He said this during a consultative meeting with Shia Hajj Coordinators at the ministry.
Zulfiqar emphasized that the arrangements for the upcoming Hajj would be completed well in advance.
In response to the secretary’s inquiry, the Shia Hajj Coordinators acknowledged that the Government Hajj Scheme had been exemplary in every respect.
They praised the quality of accommodation in Makkah and Medina, the transportation between the holy cities, food services and overall service standards, noting that the scheme’s affordability and reliability made it the top choice for pilgrims.
Secretary urged the delegation to prepare feasible suggestions for further improvements in the Government Hajj Scheme based on the experiences of the previous Hajj.
