The Organized Crime Unit of Lahore Police has arrested the last two suspects in the honey trap case involving renowned Pakistani playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
The arrested individuals include the mastermind, Hassan Shah, and his accomplice, Muhammad Rafiq. Hassan Shah has reportedly confessed to his involvement in the case.
Sources reveal that significant progress has been made in the investigation into the honey trap scheme aimed at extorting money from Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
The Lahore Police apprehended the main suspect and his accomplice in Peshawar. In his confession, Hassan Shah claimed that Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar had visited Amna Arooj’s house with ulterior motives, contradicting previous claims that he was there for casting purposes.

Hassan Shah further revealed that he had created a compromising video of Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and Amna Arooj, which was later leaked online. The leaked video shows Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar in a compromising position with Amna Arooj, including scenes of him in a nude state.
The police have confirmed that the Organized Crime Unit is continuing its investigation with Hassan Shah, and all 12 suspects involved in the case, including the woman, have been arrested.
