Heavy rain forced a 48-hour postponement of the Olympic men’s street skateboarding competition, organizers said Saturday.
A statement from Paris 2024 organizers said the preliminary rounds and final of the event, which had been due to take place on Saturday, will now be held on Monday.
“Due to adverse overnight weather conditions and following a meeting this morning with all relevant organizers, the decision has been taken to postpone men’s street skateboarding at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games until Monday July 29,” the statement said.
