A anti-terrorism court in Lahore has granted a four-day physical remand to Amina Arooj, the suspect in the honey trap case involving renowned playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
During the hearing, Judge Khalid Arshad questioned the suspect about her alleged involvement in the case.
Amna Arooj admitted that she had invited Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and had withdrawn Rs. 287,000 from his ATM.
The suspect added that she works as a model.

She further stated that the money is currently with her co-accused, Hassan Shah. After hearing the arguments, the court ordered the suspect’s remand to police custody for four days.
The court directed that the suspect be kept in police custody during daylight hours and returned to jail at night.
