A software company CEO, identified as Naveed Khan, was fatally stabbed by a former employee at his office in the Kausar Crown Plaza building on Shahrah-e-Faisal.
According to police, the incident occurred due to a dispute over salary payments. The suspect, identified as Shabbir, was a former employee of the company.
Initial investigations suggest that Shabbir, a software engineer, had been demanding his unpaid salary from the company’s head office. He entered Naveed’s office on Wednesday evening and, following an argument, stabbed the CEO with a sharp object.
Naveed, who was the CEO of the Pakistan office of a foreign software company, EuroSoft, was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
