Bollywood veteran Shatrughan Sinha has spoken out against the alleged family rift surrounding his son Luv Sinha’s absence at his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal.
In a recent interview with Times Now, the actor refuted claims of a family feud, calling the criticism against Luv a “smear campaign.”
Sinha expressed his disapproval of the attention the alleged dispute received, stating, “We have seen bigger problems. This is nothing. There is nothing to worry about. We were like any ordinary family with a wedding happening. Why we became a target of so much attention, we didn’t ask for it.”
He further emphasized the family’s unity, saying, “This is not the first time that such a marriage was happening. Our family was subjected to the most vicious smear campaign. Let me make this clear, I won’t tolerate my family being attacked.”
When questioned about Luv’s absence at the wedding, Sinha urged that family matters should remain within the family. “We may disagree and argue on certain issues. But at the end of the day, we are one family. No one can break us,” he remarked.
