A woman doctor in Bihar’s Saran district allegedly cut off a man’s private parts after he refused to marry her.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on Friday when the 32-year-old doctor invited the 28-year-old man to her clinic under the pretext of discussing a medical issue. Once the man arrived, the doctor allegedly attacked him with a sharp object, severing his private parts.
The severely injured victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.
The police have registered a case against the doctor and are currently investigating the matter. Officials stated that the accused had been pressuring the man to marry her, but he had repeatedly turned down her proposals.
“We have launched a manhunt to nab the accused doctor who is on the run. This is a heinous crime and the strictest possible action will be taken against her,” said a senior police officer.
