Gold prices in Pakistan took a dip on Monday, mirroring a decline in the international market. The local market saw a per tola price of Rs241,500, a decrease of Rs200 from the previous day.
The 10-gram gold was sold at Rs207,047, registering a decline of Rs172, according to rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the gold price per tola remained unchanged at Rs241,700 in Pakistan.
The international gold rate also experienced a decrease on Monday. According to the APGJSA, the rate stood at $2,324 per ounce (with a premium of $20), reflecting a loss of $2 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,850 per tola.
Back in April, gold prices reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
