Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur took over a grid station in Dera Ismail Khan and issued his own loadhsedding schedule.
The chief minister also threatened to cut off Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s supply of electricty to the national grid if the federal government does not change its policies.
Gandapur also issued his own 12-hour schedule for loadshedding and told MPs to implement their own schedules in their respective consitutencies.
He added that no area in KP should get more than 12 hours of loadshedding per day.
The CM also issued an ultimatum to the federal government, adding that he could shut of KP’s supply to the national grid if the loadshedding persisted.

He also said that the government was behaving unjustly towards the province, adding that the government was ruling on a stolen mandate.
Gandapur also barred the police from booking anyone on a complaint by WAPDA.
