The first night of Eid ul-Adha in Karachi was marked by a refreshing change in weather, as light drizzle descended upon the city.
This shift towards more pleasant conditions provided a welcomed respite from the previous bouts of intense heat.
According to meteorological reports, the light rain arrived late in the evening, transforming the weather in Karachi. Residents took to the streets to enjoy the cooler temperatures and breathe in the fresh, rain-infused air.
“It’s such a relief to have this cool weather during Eid,” said local resident Fatima Malik. “The rains have really lifted our spirits and made the festivities even more enjoyable.”
The Pakistan Meteorological Department confirmed that the light showers were a result of a weather system moving in from the Arabian Sea.
