Navjot Singh Sidhu wonders where players like Shahid Afridi are now

Former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has met with ex-Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi and wondered where players like him were now.

He was heard making such comments after meeting the former skipper in New York. The less than a minute clip shows Sidhu hugging Afridi and describing him as “handsome Afridi.”

Sidhu, who is also a politician and TV personality, then asked the person making the video whether or not there was any handsome man like him.

He was heard praising him. Afridi said that he has played a lot of cricket with Sidhu.

“Buddy where players like Shahid Afridi have gone now,” Sidhu asked the video maker.

The video surfaced on social media ahead of the high-voltage cricket match between Pakistan and India on Sunday (today).

Men in Blue have an edge over the Green Shirts in the mega event, but Indian skipper Rohit Sharma does not write off Pakistan.

This is the speciality of T20 cricket. Anything can happen anywhere. Last year, in the last World Cup, Pakistan lost to Zimbabwe. But eventually, they played the final. You can’t think much about the opposition, about what the opposition’s form is. It doesn’t take long for the form to come in this format,“ he said at a pre-match conference.

The Babar Azam-led side would be looking to “upset” the opposition after the shocking defeat to the United States of America in Dallas on Thursday.
