Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant decline on Saturday, mirroring a drop in the global gold rate, the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs3,600, bringing the current price down to Rs239,400.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased in Pakistan on the same day. According to the rates shared by the APGJSA, the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs205,247, reflecting a drop of Rs3,086 compared to the previous price.
The international gold rate decreased on Saturday as the gold rate was set at $2,292 per ounce, which included a premium of $20.
This represented a decline of $70 in the international gold price during the day.
On Friday, the gold price per tola remained stable and unchanged in the Pakistani market.
