Ali Zafar makes sarcastic post after Badu Badi crosses 19m views in one month

Singer-cum-actor Ali Zafar has made a sarcastic social media post after one of the users compared the YouTube views of his recent song Balo Batian with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s (CFAK) Badu Badi.

“Confession : I was delusional and arrogant to think I had no competition. I’ve been humbled,” Zafar said while responding to a user’s May 23 post.

It said that the Balo Batian by Ali Zafar and Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi crossed 16 million views in a month whereas Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Badu Badi crossed 19 million views in the same time.

Just to bring in the reader’s knowledge the CFAK’s song has crossed 27 million views as of June 2.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is a social media sensation. He became popular after releasing his anthem for the Pakistan Super League season eight.

He resides in London and shares his songs on social media platform. He is set to release his upcoming film Sabaq on Eid.

In an interview with Aaj News last year, he said that his passion for singing dates back to 1982 or 1983 when he joined a music group in Sheikhupura.

While revealing the reason behind changing his name, Chahat said that he made the decision when he resumed singing. “My real name is Kashif Rana. I changed it about seven years ago when I started singing.”
