London Mayor Sadiq Khan sat down with Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in the United Kingdom’s capital on Wednesday.
The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest and the political situation.
The discussion also covered cricket as Naqvi said that the team should not be criticised until the World Cup, hoping for their victory in the T20 World Cup.
The London mayor extended his best wishes to Pakistan and England, stating that “Babar Azam is a world-class captain.”
Pakistani High Commissioner to the UK Dr Muhammad Faisal and the British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott were also present at the meeting.
The final match of the Pakistan and England T20 series will be played at the Oval.
Naqvi also invited Khan to visit Pakistan.
