Gandapur says ‘breakthrough’ achieved in meeting with ministers

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur met Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Energy Minister Awais Leghari in Islamabad on Monday to discuss loadshedding issues in the province.

After the meeting, the three leaders held a joint press conference, in which the CM Gandapur said that load shedding is a major problem of the people, a way has been found which will give relief to the people.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that they will work together on the causes of line losses, due to loadshedding there is also a problem of law and order.

However, Gandapur said that a breakthrough had been achieved which would help ease the situation.

Insider accounts revealed that Gandapur complained about load shedding of electricity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to sources, Chief Minister KP complained that upto 18 hours of unannounced load shedding is happening in the province.

He further said that routine life and business are being badly affected. Leghari replied that electricity worth billions of rupees is stolen in KPK.

Leghari clarified that the government is ready to provide 24 hours electricity to the people of the province if the provincial government stops electricity theft in the province.
