England beat Pakistan by 23 runs in second T20

England defeated Pakistan by 23 runs in the second T20 match against Pakistan in Birmingham on Saturday.

England scored 183 runs for the loss of 7 wickets after Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Jos Butler starred for England with 84 runs off 51 balls and Will Jacks scored 37 runs off 23 balls.

Shaheen Shah Afridi starred with the ball for Pakistan with 3 wickets for 36 runs. Imad Wasim and Haris Rauf got 2 scalps each.

In reply, Pakistan ran into trouble early, losing its first wicket for just 1 run.

Fakhar Zaman put up a strong fron, scoring 45 runs off 21 balls before being removed by Liam Livingstone.

Babar Azam scored 32 runs while Iftiakhar (23) and Imad Wasim (22) also tried to get Pakistan home but in vain.

Pakistan were bowled out for 160 runs in 19.2 overs, losing the match by 23 runs.

The first match of the series was washed out by the rain.
