Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has announced his endorsement of Donald Trump in the 2024 US presidential election.
In an interview with political commentator Nick Adams, Brown outlined three key reasons for his support of the former president.
Firstly, the former NFL player praised Trump’s business acumen and family background, stating “I think Donald Trump is a good businessman and comes from a good family and has been a good President.”
Secondly, Brown suggested that Trump favours endorsements from Black public figures, particularly athletes, saying: “You know he likes black people running campaigns, preferably football players.”
He highlighted Trump’s past pardons of rappers like Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, indicating he hopes the former president could take similar actions for other musicians.
