Michelle Dee, the reigning Miss Universe Philippines, bid farewell to her reign at the recent beauty pageant coronation night.
In an interview with R’Bonney Gabriel and Jeannie Mai, Dee reflected on her most cherished memory from her time as the titleholder.
“The love, compassion, and celebration upon returning from El Salvador – being in a room full of proud Filipinos – that truly stood out,” Dee shared. “While I didn’t bring home the fifth crown, I felt the immense support, and that mattered most.”
Dee, who is passing on the crown tonight at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, also offered words of encouragement to the competing hopefuls.
“Hard work, dedication, passion, and most importantly, love for your country. Trust your training and your support system. Destiny will guide you.”
