Sahibzada Hamid Raza, the Chairman of the Sunni Ittehad Council, launched a scathing verbal attack on Maulana Fazlur Rehman, stating that he opposes any alliance with the Maulana as he abandons his allies once he achieves his objectives. According to Raza, this tactic is exclusive to Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Speaking on ‘Rubaroo’ on Aaj News on Tuesday, Sahibzada Hamid Raza Maulana used to say that women’s leadership is forbidden, yet he was part of the government led by respected in the Kashmir Committee.
“I oppose any alliance with Maulana Fazlur Rehman as he abandons his allies once he achieves his objectives,” he added.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the Sunni Ittehad Council commented on Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s involvement in the government, stating that the JUI chief is aspiring for governorship, with all his charm.
Sahibzada Hamid Raza went on to say that false are continuously being created against Imran Khan. He added that he has formed a temporary alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), but does not interfere in the internal affairs of the PTI.
Regarding the issue of granting general amnesty to the Taliban, Sahibzada Hamid Raza expressed his disagreement with the founder of the PTI, adding negotiations should take with anti-state elements.
During the program, Sahibzada Hamid Raza further remarked that those who love the country cannot bear the burden of a confrontation with the military.
Raza said that the Punjab government has succumbed to fascism.
He added that he considered Imran Khan’s decision to resign from the assembly to be the right decision.
The SIC chairman said that he felt that the country was angered at political decisions and would take its revenge after the budget.
