Sindh intermediate exams postponed due to heatwave

In response to the heatwave conditions prevailing across Sindh, intermediate examinations have been postponed throughout the province.

Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, approved the recommendation of the Minister for Universities and Board, Mohammad Ali Malkani, to postpone the examinations.

Following the directive of the Chief Minister, the Universities and Board issued a notification to change the examination dates.

According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister of Sindh, the intermediate exams, which were scheduled to begin on May 22, will now commence from May 27.

It is worth noting that both Punjab and Sindh are currently experiencing intense heatwave conditions, and the Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that Karachi, the capital city, will feel excessively hot temperatures.

According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity level in Karachi is 68 percent, and winds are blowing at a speed of 19 kilometers per hour from the southwest direction.
