Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma’ actor, Gurucharan Singh has returned home after being reported missing since April 22, India Today reported.
The Delhi Police had previously filed a kidnapping case and launched an investigation to locate the actor.
However, during the interrogation, Singh informed the authorities that he had temporarily left his worldly life to embark on a religious journey.
Over the past few days, the individual visited Sikh places of worship known as Gurudwaras in multiple cities, including Amritsar and Ludhiana. However, the police later reported that the individual subsequently decided they should return home.
On April 22nd, the actor was scheduled to take a flight from Delhi to Mumbai, but he did not end up boarding the scheduled flight. Instead, he went missing on that day.
The police investigation found that the actor’s phone number remained active until April 24th, and during that time, multiple financial transactions were made through the phone.
The CCTV footage from the day the actor went missing showed him walking while carrying a backpack.
The actor’s father, Hargit Singh, filed a missing person complaint on April 26th.
