At least four terrorists involved in the targeted killings of police officers were killed in Lahore, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) spokesperson said on Sunday.
All four terrorists were “killed due to firing by their accomplices.”
The prime suspect, Faizan Butt, was taken into custody for possessing firearms. He was being transported to a forest area where the accomplices of the suspect attacked.
Three terrorists managed to flee the scene. The target killer, Faizan, was affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban group, the CTD spokesperson said.
