Bushra Begum moved to Adiala Jail after IHC order

Former First Lady Bushra Begum has been shifted to Adiala Jail following a decision of the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday.

Bushra had filed a plea in the High Court asking to be shifted to Adiala Jail from Bani Gala, which had been declared a sub-jail following her arrest.

However, Bushra Begum’s possessions have still not been moved to Adiala Jail. The belongings are expected to be moved alter on Wednesday.

Bushra was arrested in January this year after a court sentenced her to jail terms in corruption and illegal nikkah cases along with her husband, former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
